A SEA OF FILMS, 20 years of Kino Otok \u2013 Isola Cinema festival identities<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Exhibition of posters from the festival’s 20-year history. Developed by several different designers, the identities share the use of illustration, diverse graphic elements and, since last year, photography. Displaying the exhibits in an open city space befits the nature of posters as a basic medium of visual communication.<\/p>\n

See you at Isola Cinema! 20 years of the Kino Otok \u2013 Isola Cinema festival<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

As part of ‘Otok in Ljubljana’, a select set of films and filmmakers are presented to audiences in the Kinodvor City Cinema in Ljubljana. This year, it comes with a celebratory temporary exhibition showing visual memories of two decades of unforgettable expeditions to the most cinematic Isola around.<\/p>\n

Cabinet of Curiosities, 20 years of the Kino Otok \u2013 Isola Cinema festival<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Unique temporary exhibition of Kino Otok memorabilia and similar shenanigans in the House of Culture, Art Cinema Odeon and possibly other festival locations around Izola. On display are photos, videos, notes, keepsakes, and other exhibits from the archives of the festival and its makers. Happy birthday, Kino Otok!<\/p>\n

REFLECTIONS, <\/strong>exhibition by UNG School of Arts<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

A traditional exhibition of photography by members of the art division of the \u2018Morje\u2019 Society, working with the photographer Remigio Gri\u017eoni\u010d as a mentor.<\/p>\n

Izolana Museum \u2013 House of the Sea<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Izolana Museum is where you can get to know the turbulent history of Isola from the time when it was still an island, to the period marked by fishing and the fish processing industry.<\/p>\n

Annual exhibition by TUBA, a fine artists\u2019 society from Izola.<\/p>\n

LIME MONTHS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Contemporary jewellery designer Sandra Kocjanc\u030cic\u030c\u00a0in collaboration with artist engaged in researching and developing biomaterials, Marko Vivoda.<\/p>\n

GAME FOR TWO<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exhibition by internationally renowned artists, Op Art practitioners Beti Bricelj and Sandi Renko.<\/p>\n

The Edge of Everyday<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Dance performance by Ursus Dancers, a Free-flow Movement Studio dance company.<\/p>\n
